  • Love/hate relationship… Wish Cucho all the best.

I’ve had a love hate relationship with this podcast for a while. The latest episode really turned me off. To insinuate that a club legend in Cucho forced an exit because you are butt hurt about him leaving before the season is disrespectful and speaks to what others have said which is this podcast has becoming more of a platform to rant and complain. I think something major that was left out was the context and Cuchos perspective when considering an exit. Cucho has made it clear he wants to play... more

  • Off Topic Too Much

Every episode feels 50/50 Crew talk versus rambling about random things. Just feels like half of the talk about the Crew and MLS is complaints when I’d prefer listening to something where I’ll learn more about the team and league.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep. 547
Q: Does this move have anything to do with Herrera's contract or loan deal coming up?
No, the decisions are independent; we see value in Lennon separately from the Herrera situation.
Ep. 547
Q: So obviously, you guys made the trade and you've signed Brooks Lennon. Can you kind of talk through those decisions initially and just kind of what you see, especially out of Brooks and what he brings to the team?
The move was driven by needs at right wing back, competition within the group, and the belief that Lennon can fit into our system after medical checks and prior league experience, even if injuries have occurred in the past.
Ep. 545
Q: What challenges does the interim setup face for the rest of the season?
The interim period aims to maintain competitiveness, test ideas without harming the playoff pursuit, and use the break to re-evaluate roster needs and coaching fit for the long term.
Ep. 545
Q: What factors made this a timely move rather than waiting for the World Cup break?
There were three important games coming up; the team needed uplift and a clear direction, which they believed could be gained immediately with a coaching change and a visible shift in atmosphere.
Ep. 545
Q: How did the situation end up escalating so quickly after discussions at the start of the season?
The panel describes a rapid shift driven by the players' sense of disconnect, the inability to align with the coach's philosophy, and an urgent need to regain momentum before key matches and the World Cup break.
