秋田の春の風物詩、魁星旗高校剣道で男子の秋田商が第１回大会以来となる54年ぶり2度目の優勝を果たしました。
全国トップクラスの強豪校を次々と破る活躍に会場は沸き、高校剣道界に大きな衝撃を与えました。
取材した運動部の進藤麻斗記者と佐々木翔吾記者が同校の快進撃や県勢の戦いぶりについて、裏話を交えて振り返ります。
２０２５年度のまんず、ねまれも色々なテーマを取り上げてきました。
２４年度は当時デジタル編集部だった藤岡真希記者（能代支局三種町駐在）と佐藤亮真記者（整理部）がＭＣを務めていましたが２５年度からは、政治経済部や
運動部など色々な記者がＭＣを務めてバラエティ豊かになりました。

従業員の不足や高齢化を理由に、３月末で一般向けの公開を終了する鹿角市の「史跡尾去沢鉱山」。４月以降は団体予約のみの受け付けとなるため、現在駆け込みで多くの観光客が訪れています。
国内最大級の観光坑道（１・７キロ）は、採掘した鉱石を運搬していた電車やエレベーター、リアルな鉱員の人形展示や大規模採掘跡など見どころがたくさん！
