３月７日から３日間、熊本市でバスケットボールの全日本社会人プレミアムチャンピオンシップ（ＣＳ）が行われました。社会人バスケ日本一を決める大会で男子のＪＲ東日本秋田が大会初の３連覇を達成し、女子の秋田銀行は準優勝しました。
２年前のＣＳではＪＲ東日本秋田と秋田銀行が県勢同時優勝しており、当時運動部だった写真映像グループの佐藤亮真記者が取材しました。今年のＣＳも佐藤記者が取材へ足を運び、決勝進出した両チームの活躍を目の当たりにして感激したようです。

２０２５年度は秋田の政治経済が大きく動いた１年でした。４月の知事選、７月の参院選、そして３月の衆院選と、年度内に３つの大型選挙がありました。経済では、洋上風力発電事業を巡る動きや、あきたこまちの概算金が過去最高の３万円を記録するなど、県民生活に直結するニュースが相次ぎました。
今回は、取材の最前線に立った政治経済部の伊藤正孝・佐藤将弥両記者が、当時の現場の様子や印象に残っている出来事、今後の注目点について語ります。ＭＣは後輩の板橋美羽記者が務めます。
秋田県ではおなじみの映画の祭典「あきた十文字映画祭」が先月７、８日、横手市十文字町で開かれました。第３３回となる今年は市内を舞台にした短編映画がお披露目されたり、実行委員会の新しい代表が登場したりと話題が盛りだくさんでした。
