I came into this show as an overall World of Darkness fan (with special love for Wraith) and only a passing knowledge of Mage. I picked out a few random episodes here and there for books I remember from back in my peak WoD days…and before I knew it was listening to every new episode that came out. Now I’ve gone back to the beginning and hitting up the complete back catalogue. Great hosts. Great conversations. Very informative.
Idk why the host covers books they obviously hate. It just makes the entire episode feel like its not worth listening to.
So I’ve been listening to Terry and Adam for awhile and I just have a few simple takes for them. TL,DR: get your audio balanced, stop reviewing WoD books like college essays, Embrace the Gothic Punk and heavy subject matters. more
I’ve been binging this podcast for months. Adam and Terry are great! The wit, insight and story ideas are well worth it.
A well researched, interesting and inspiring series about an incredibly creative RPG. A must listen for anyone interested in Mage the Ascension, especially if in need of inspiration to run it. I love their goal of nurturing new players and storytellers, which shows in many if not all episodes.
