本週一布蘭特原油、WTI西德州原油一度雙雙衝破百元關卡，導致週一以科技股為主的台、日、韓股紛紛大跌甚至還觸發了韓股的熔斷機制。後續川普自己表示戰爭很快會結束，並且考慮放寬部分石油的制裁、釋放緊急戰略儲備油等措施後，加上 G7 也對原油供給的情況召開緊急電話會議，油價大幅回落，美股反彈帶動其餘亞洲股市大漲。而錄音的當天，雖然 IEA 通過了史上最大規模的石油庫存釋放，但因為伊朗再度發起攻擊，不論是實體攻擊商船，還是口頭攻擊美國，布蘭特原油又再度突破了百元關卡，引發亞、美股下跌。
