Appena finito di ascoltarlo, e sono allibita, ammutolita. Nonostante l’enorme materiale a disposizione che ho letto, non ho mai sentito una versione così perfetta nella sua cruda descrizione dei fatti. Senza togliere né aggiungere nulla. Un finale da incorniciare, da far ascoltare a scuola. Da insegnare a quella fetta di paese che ci fa vergognare da 80 anni. Complimenti !

Sono rimasto letteralmente allibito dalla precisione storica, la proprietà del linguaggio, la scarna, essenziale, ma al contempo ricca descrizione degli eventi che hanno portato alla fine del regime di Mussolini. Racconto crudo, all’apparenza crudele, ma assolutamente aderente ai fatti, che viene narrato senza orpelli né inutili tentativi di addolcire la verità, che non è mai dolce. Complimenti ad Antonio Scurati, scrittore e storico eccelso! Grazie!
