From the creators of the podcast Darknet Diaries comes LOW. This five-part series follows a boy forced too early into the jaws of the world, and the man he becomes while trying to survive it. From the shattered innocence of childhood to the false freedom of drugs, violence, exile, reinvention, and purpose, his life unfolds as a brutal argument with fate. Again and again, he is broken, remade, and ... more

The story is over, but Jack isn't finished. He steps out from behind the microphone to offer his own theory of where Zachariah ended up, the philosophy he reached for to make sense of it all, and what carrying this story for years taught him about be... more
He's new now. He's meeting the world now. He has a purpose now. He feels it in his bones. He doesn't want to do it, but feels that he must do it. There's no one else who will do it. So he must. He's no longer drifting. He moves with precision, with c... more

There is no way this story is real. Either Jack is making it up or the guy he spoke to was. There are too many giant holes that break its credibility.
I also generally try to avoid this subset of podcasts that attempt to glorify objectively terrible people.
But the presentation is so well done, I was compelled to finish it, even as I felt guilty doing so. Like a stronger version of how I feel when I see a bad reality show.
Perhaps that's the kind of reaction Jack wanted to elicit.
Jack is one of the greatest podcasters of our generation.
Incredible story telling.
This is art.
Jack is really hurting his credibility with this one. The whole show reads like an amateur script for a CW teen drama series. There's not a word of truth to be had and it's trying so desperately for you to believe it's real. Pitiful.
Quite disappointed, love darknet diaries but this is just jack talking to changed jack as a teenager who brags about things ....

A hard-edged, philosophy-tinged series that follows a young man's trajectory from a troubled upbringing to a self-described mission, grappling with fate, choice, and meaning amid survival, drugs, exile, and violence. Across episodes, conversations mix intimate memoir with existential reflections on freedom, responsibility, and the costs of survival, often framed by harsh life events and moments of insight that hint at a larger purpose. Notable elements include a strong narrative through-line about transformation into a proactive if morally complex agent, plus raw storytelling, anti-veneer honesty, and moments of self-promo that invite continued engagement from listeners.
Expect in-depth explorations of identity, resilience, and meaning und... more
