If you are interested in the intricate world building involved in videogames, this podcast has you covered. The hosts go so far as to discuss canonical and non-canonical outcomes for characters, and even proposed storylines that have leaked from games that never made it to production. The show is worth your time, the hosts are charming, and they stay on topic (which cannot be said for most lore podcasts).
Love the show, the content is accompanied by fun commentary and some laughs. I love how Mystic talks about some aspects of video game lore that aren’t always so common place and it’s funny when Sapphy gets irritated at some of the awful character names. Definitely recommend this fun show!
Mystic and Saphy offer a really fun way to catch up on the stories of popular video game franchises. If you need to have some back story filled in because you’re starting a new game in the middle of a series, or just want to relive some of your favorites, listening to Lore Together is a good way to do that.
As someone who enjoys delving into lore, I really appreciate Mystic and Sapphy as my tour guides through some dense terrain! They are both very well-spoken, intelligent, and thoughtful. Their insights and good humor makes these examinations all the more fun. Plus, the Daedra have always fascinated me! —John
I stated listening to this for the Elder Scrolls content, but it's much more than that, even this early. The amount of information that Mystic and Sapphy put into examining the history, stories and connections of the games they examine is fantastic. You will never look at games, their themes, or the mammal juice rocks I used to call cheese, in quite the same way again after this podcast.
