  • It’s ok.

I listen to a lot of pods from the Locked On network and the majority of em seem like guys that are actually routing for the team they’re covering…because they are. This one seems more like a couple guys who took a job covering a team. It’s good for info but, if you’re looking for guys to give ya something to route for, this sadly isn’t it.

  • Good daily show! Wish we got some more scoops

Mitch and Connor do a great job handling the tough task a daily podcast presents. They really shine in the late off season and early season, when there is a lot going on.

One ask, and I know it’s hard but the most recent “will he, won’t he?” Raiola conversation was pretty brutal. We’re gonna just speculate like people at my water cooler? I get Nebraska reporters love their access but really? I know Mitch has something to work off of other than speculation.

  • Who Keeps Paying Mitch Sherman?

Going to Mitch Sherman for any legitimate insight or analysis of any kind is like going to a brothel for a hug.

Yeah, you got there eventually, you probably got what you wanted and your itch scratched, but you should be much smarter with how you value both your money and your time.

Love this show. Mitch and Connor are two of the best covering Nebraska sports. In contrast to so many other pods/programs, it is not loud or obnoxious. It is simply intelligent, articulate discussion and analysis.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Is Matt Rhule holding onto a secret about this Nebraska football team?
Q: Has Nebraska outgrown the single digits? Are they still planning to do it this year as a symbol of toughness?
The players with single digits are still in the program, and it's treated as normal business rather than a big spectacle this year.
Cornfields and QB talk on Nebraska’s first day of football camp
Q: What stood out from Anthony Colandrea's media session on day one?
Colandrea spoke with poise, offered thoughtful answers, and suggested the team's offense could unlock more explosiveness, while keeping some information close to the vest as he navigates this early time with Nebraska.
Is Nebraska football laying in wait for five-star tight end Ahmad Hudson?
Q: What is the most likely path for Ahmad Hudson's recruitment this cycle?
Stay in the mix and build momentum through the season, with a late final pitch before signing day likely to secure a flip if the relationship and program trajectory stay strong.
What we’re overlooking this summer that will matter for Nebraska football in 2026
Q: Which non-obvious area could Nebraska be better at than people expect in the Big Ten?
The discussion leans toward Nebraska having one of the better secondaries in the Big Ten, suggesting the defense could outperform expectations if the secondary holds up alongside the front seven.
What we’re overlooking this summer that will matter for Nebraska football in 2026
Q: What are we talking about now that will turn out to be irrelevant by Big Ten play?
The hosts agree that game-management decisions and in-season adjustments are often overanalyzed in the summer, but real relevance will come from how Nebraska handles the mid-season schedule, not from speculative items.
