I listen to a lot of pods from the Locked On network and the majority of em seem like guys that are actually routing for the team they’re covering…because they are. This one seems more like a couple guys who took a job covering a team. It’s good for info but, if you’re looking for guys to give ya something to route for, this sadly isn’t it.
Mitch and Connor do a great job handling the tough task a daily podcast presents. They really shine in the late off season and early season, when there is a lot going on.
One ask, and I know it’s hard but the most recent “will he, won’t he?” Raiola conversation was pretty brutal. We’re gonna just speculate like people at my water cooler? I get Nebraska reporters love their access but really? I know Mitch has something to work off of other than speculation.
Going to Mitch Sherman for any legitimate insight or analysis of any kind is like going to a brothel for a hug.
Yeah, you got there eventually, you probably got what you wanted and your itch scratched, but you should be much smarter with how you value both your money and your time.
Shocked Happer hasn’t turned this into a hoops show. Wasn’t sure he was capable of discussing anything else
Love this show. Mitch and Connor are two of the best covering Nebraska sports. In contrast to so many other pods/programs, it is not loud or obnoxious. It is simply intelligent, articulate discussion and analysis.

Episodes routinely cover game strategy, recruiting, conference dynamics, NIL developments, and post-season scenarios, often weaving in insider context, bracketology, and cross-sport comparisons. A notable strength is the approachable, fan-friendly banter balanced with data-driven takes and guest perspectives from analysts across major outlets, making it useful for listeners who want timely, situation-specific insights and a clear read on how national trends affect the Huskers. The show tends to blend campus lore with Big Ten and national sports governance topics, which can be particularly engaging for listeners... more
