The topic of this episode changed completely after an exciting announcement because sometimes you can’t predict where life is about to take you… more
No substance, just buzzwords. I wish the topics related to people who don’t have the amount of privilege that she does
Give her more encouragement. Everyone has their own ideas. It can be taken as reference or not. She is just brave enough to express herself. You are brilliant 😊
I’ve followed Niomi for years now but I have to say that this is almost unlistenable. Episodes have little structure, and endless talk but I found myself constantly zoning out as nothing with any real clarity or heart was being spoken. Just a random mix of wellness buzzwords with very little grasp of reality. There’s a whole host of podcasts which are able to analyse and discuss similar topics so much better (fit literate, maintenance phase etc). This seems about ten years behind the times!
I often like this genre of podcast but after listening to all the episodes so far I just can’t get over the lack of acknowledgement of privilege! So many ‘solutions’ to problems seem to be things that just aren’t an option for most people but there’s never any addressing of this. Also, advice on relationships, life etc based on what? What makes this person experienced enough/qualified to talk about it? Perhaps she’d be better off interviewing people who have actually been through real hardships?... more
I think there’s potential for this to be a really nice uplifting podcast but it needs a bit of work. I have to agree with the other reviews and I really hope Niomi will listen and take on board the feedback in the spirit of constructive critique. more
