Loved this audio play! The characters were so well developed and acted I could picture them! The story was riveting and I love how the episodes ended with a cliffhanger. It also made me sad to think that people had to live with so much fear, not that long ago. The sound and music really worked well. Thoroughly enjoyed this.
I love these Night Passing episodes - the story is amazing, and the characters are so fun, and the sound is incredible. I feel like I am in Ottawa in the 1950s and in the heart of the queer community. I think sharing stories about the history of our LGBTQ+ communities in Canada is so important. This is one of the first shows that I have heard that has explored Canadian LGBTQ+ history. And it's accessible and captivating and so incredibly on-point with the film noir! Binge listen to them all!
I just finished Unexpecting today. So well done! As a young queer person, I can’t tell you how much it means to hear a queer story that doesn’t centre itself around the “typical” LGBTQ struggles - coming out, etc. While those stories valid and important, it’s so refreshing to listen to something layered, honest, and full of hope. THANK YOU and I can’t wait to listen to what comes next.
