Not sure if this has always been the case and I just realized it, or this show has recently started being pure sales pitch/was acquired and restructured.

  • I'm giving up on Jupiter Broadcasting

I've listened to most shows Jupiter Broadcasting has done but now that self hosted is over, I've decided linux unplugged and the rest of the shows are no longer for me. There are two main reasons. First is the crypto currency stuff. I'm not interested and it's slowly become a bigger and bigger part of the show. It's great that people are supporting and if that's how the listeners want to do it and like hearing it talked about for a huge chunck of the episodes, fine. It just isn't for me. The sec... more

  • This is the perfect example of a Linux podcast. Chris, Wes and Brent keep politics out of the conversation and respect each other even though they probably don't see eye to eye on things. They remain friends even if they might disagree on things.

This kind of podcast continues to be my favorite. Techy, fun, remains on topic unlike some former associates of the network

  • Linux Unboosted

This used to be the premiere Linux podcast but you can’t listen to the show without being hit up for money during the whole show. You can’t contact them without being told to boost in. Half the show is all about sending boosts in. It’s pretty annoying. Some shows on the network will shame the listeners for not boosting in. The listeners are made to feel bad when the show, coder radio for example, doesn’t get boosted enough. I like the non boost content but that’s getting less and less to make ro... more
