其实很早之前我就想讲讲“万历抗倭援朝”了，一个是《明朝那些事儿》对这段历史记述得很简略，错误也不少；另一个就是韩国拍的《露梁海战》刻意贬低陈璘，贬低为他们冲锋陷阵、舍身忘死、有再造之恩的大英雄，心里很不是滋味。露梁海战是中朝水师联军精诚团结，陈璘、李舜臣身先士卒，用惺惺相惜的情谊谱写的一曲中朝军事史上壮丽的篇章。
公元1598年，万历二十六年十一月十九日的凌晨，岛津义弘率领舰队来到了露梁津海峡。按照陈璘的部署，副总兵邓子龙和以李舜臣为首的朝鲜水军作为先锋，带着麾下部队冲在最前，露梁海战就此打响。
1598年9月18日丰臣秀吉病死。临死前，他下令：从朝鲜半岛撤军。小西行长归心似箭，没想到此时陈璘与李舜臣获悉了消息，马上组织大军拦截，中朝水师在露梁津海峡及其以东水域日夜监视，空前惨烈的露梁海战就此爆发。
通过顺天倭城之战中，我发现陈璘与刘綎无论是军事素养还是个人操守，相差甚远。刘綎避战自保，军纪败坏，争权夺利；陈璘团结奋战，严格要求，心怀大局；总而言之：刘綎像军阀，陈璘像统帅。而正是由于统帅陈璘的尽职尽责，才有了后面中朝水师联手的露梁海战。
