This podcast was the key to not feeling alone with SSRI withdrawal. I was able to withdrawal safely and taper successfully while using this podcast as a reminder that I’m not the only person struggling with coming off of antidepressants, and it provided reassurance that even though it would be difficult, it was possible.
Just the existence of this podcast makes me feel less alone in my withdrawal struggle.

Loving these podcasts! Have been on 2 types of SSRI including diazepam for the awful side effects. I had no support from my Dr’s unless I needed more meds. It then became clear to them I had been on the benzo for over 4mnths and so now am slowly tapering the benzo which is going to take me till at least Feb 2022. None of the professionals had heard of the Ashton Manual let alone was interested but I was determined to do at my pace and and timeframe or would have been very poorly.... more
