What’s better quality, quantity, perfection, doneness? I’m NOT SURE, you tell me (@lokate). This episode is mostly deep thoughts, from deep in the back of my broadcast closet. Intro music: Beach Party by Kevin MacLeod, via freemusicarchive.org
I let my friends and family know that I started a podcast, and this is how it went. This is basic stuff, but sometimes basic stuff is good (hello frappuccinos). Intro music: Moon Party by To Eris, via freemusicarchive.org
Whelp, now that this experiment is on iTunes, what’s the plan for future episodes? Same thing I plan every time, Pinky, try to take over the world! Also in this episode: listener feedback for the first time ever. Intro music: Poolside by Little Glass... more
I’m so excited that Apple approved the podcast to show up in iTunes, I’m only sort of sad that my mic rubbed on my shirt and made an annoying swishy sound the whole time. MUSIC ATTRIBUTION: Bacterial Love by Rolemusic, from freemusicarchive.org

Laurel's podcast is inspiring for anyone who's considering starting a podcast or didn't even know they wanted to (like me). She's fun, silly, but most importantly, got me to start one of my own!
Funny, helpful and interesting! This podcast has inspired me to think about starting my own podcast, thanks Laurel!
Fun to hear the journey from talking into your phone at a stop light to being a podcast sensation (I'm assuming this will happen shortly). One of the reasons I've never seriously considered making my own podcast is the worry that you'd need to invest in an expensive microphone for good audio quality, but all of her experiments so far have sounded great.
Good start. My plans for world domination on the cheap will def require a podcast that doesn't hurt the budget. Sound was fine but was that the rush of fresh ideas or just wind noise?
LIstened to the first episode (only 2 minutes!). The audio quality was great for an impromptu, on-to-go, in the car recording. Interested to hear more about editing, posting and sharing podcasts on the cheap. Keep it up!
