Great information. The “mmmmm hmmmm….yep” every 8 seconds is very distracting.

  • Baseball talk!!

Great show guys! At the risk of trashing your predecessors, it’s nice to hear great baseball analysis instead of video game reviews. Keep up the great work!

  • Great content- stop mumbling

I love the content but you guys like, trail off and say stuff under your breath at the end of almost every sentence it seems. I think you are trying to be funny and ironic/sarcastic but it’s really just very distracting. Otherwise great and informative content.

Guardians Real or Not with Mike Mahoney
Q: Real or not, Cade Smith isn't cut to be a closer. Say it.
The hosts acknowledge the small sample size and emphasize Cade Smith has a closer's stuff and potential, arguing that if he can maintain strikeout success and avoid heavy balls in play, he could be a viable closer, despite early results.
What Will it Take for the Guardians to Make the Playoffs?
Q: What do you think needs to happen for the Guardians to make the playoffs?
Both Quincy and Tom discuss the necessity for players like Tanner Bybee to perform well and the bullpen to have reliable arms.
Guardians Questions and Answers
Q: What changes do you think currently over performing guards players need to do to sustain their current level of success?
Players like Angel Martinez need to improve their walk rates and reduce their aggressive swings, as he's shown potential to be a valuable player despite expected regression.
Guardians Questions and Answers
Q: Why is the pitching staff at four walks per nine as a starting pitching staff?
The high walk rate can be attributed to a combination of young pitchers adjusting to new delivery techniques, which has led to command issues that result in more walks.
Guardians Questions and Answers
Q: Who is a player we could see in Cleveland this year outside of the highlighted prospects?
Juan Brito and Petey Halpen are likely candidates for call-ups, with Brito being poised to play second base after recovering from an injury.
