very interesting and fun to listen to.
I gave up in the beginning of episode 6. The kids father is a reaaaal whiner. The players don’t do very creative things to move gameplay along and then roast the GM and whine about the positions they’ve either put themselves in, or can’t figure a way out of. Lots of incredible actual play podcasts for WoD and DnD I’d rather listen to then slog through a bunch of bad players expecting the GM to railroad them.
So, I've got to be honest, I stumbled on this podcast after getting caught up on Crit Role & needed more ttrpg podcasts to satiate my hunger to play. This is probably my favorite podcast I've listened to, and also the only one I've re-listened to. The characters have good development across the first season, and the story is masterfully crafted. The characters in the second season are different from those of the first, and they have so far lived up to my expectations from season 1.

A lively actual-play show centered on a superhero RPG universe set in New Olympus, blending high-stakes action with witty banter and deep character moments. Episodes emphasize time travel, World War II-era intrigue, and a large, interconnected mythos, with multi-arc storytelling, evolving power sets, and a strong sense of camaraderie among the players and GMs. The show's appeal lies in its cinematic world-building, accessible entry for RPG newcomers, and a knack for marrying drama with humor across long-form storylines.
