  • Good game concept and gameplay, whiny players.

I gave up in the beginning of episode 6. The kids father is a reaaaal whiner. The players don’t do very creative things to move gameplay along and then roast the GM and whine about the positions they’ve either put themselves in, or can’t figure a way out of. Lots of incredible actual play podcasts for WoD and DnD I’d rather listen to then slog through a bunch of bad players expecting the GM to railroad them.

  • So, I've got to be honest, I stumbled on this podcast after getting caught up on Crit Role & needed more ttrpg podcasts to satiate my hunger to play. After about 5 episodes, I IMMEDIATELY bought the book (can't wait to get my group together to play). Now, I honestly like Legends MORE than CR! Such a great show/game concept! I have been listening to it non-stop for a couple weeks now, and I just can't get enough. The players are incredibly inventive with how they use their abilities, and the stor... more

  • This is probably my favorite podcast I've listened to, and also the only one I've re-listened to. The characters have good development across the first season, and the story is masterfully crafted. The characters in the second season are different from those of the first, and they have so far lived up to my expectations from season 1.
