I’m a gringa with a Puerto Rican husband. I understand Spanish but sometimes I am a bit unsure when it comes to speaking. The setup of this podcast is great! The conversational episodes are nice and I find myself listening closely to see if there’s any grammar or tips that I can pick up on. Testing my comprehension of the boricua accent. Then, have an instructor walk through what they discussed in English, pointing out elements of vocabulary, grammar, sayings and more. Kerry highlighted a few do’s and dont’s that I’ll carry with me forever from listening to just the first episode pairing.
