  • Irish

Hearing a person whose native tongue is English, speak Irish as their second language, it just doesn’t feel right and it just doesn’t sound right. Whether it’s Gerry Adams or Mary Lou McDonald or some high school student, it sounds so unnatural, so forced, and it doesn’t sound anything like native Irish.
