I stumbled on this podcast a while ago and have been so blessed by the lectures. Hearing Joshua Chestnut’s talks on Paul have specifically been refreshing to my soul and have been something I needed to hear as a woman who used to be in ministry. I’m not sure how many books I’ve bought as a result of listening, but they’ve become a significant to-be-read pile. I so appreciate you guys!
I don’t know what I would do without L’Abri. I wish I could live in this community, but the next best thing is to be able to listen to this wealth of ideas on the podcast. They remind me of all that is good and beautiful and true, the old stories and fairy tales and poetry that our culture so desperately needs. The modern American church would benefit so much from emulating their model of Christian fellowship and discipleship and their care of the life of the mind.
These lectures are thought-provoking, informative, intelligent, and worth the time investment. Not the average evangelical flavor you'd get on Christian television or radio. Give L'Abri a try.
They’re great! Just subscribed so I can listen to the lectures when I can’t attend in person.

Across recent episodes, listeners encounter debates about culture wars and political engagement, the role of literature and imagination in shaping empathy, and the ethical implications of technology and AI in art. Other themes include the dignity of everyday life, the meaning of humility, and the Christian understanding of human nature—often anchored in historical Christian thinkers and medieval-to-modern reflections. The format tends to feature in-depth talks and weekend events hosted by a scholarly fellowship, likely appealing to listeners who value rigorous discussion, cont... more
