Hello, this is absolutely a podcast I would recommend and encourage others to listen to and support.
I did want to share one concern. I find it disconcerting that the episodes are titled with the perpetrator’s names rather than the names of those who suffered. Centering the perpetrator in this way risks giving them further recognition and attention, while the people who were harmed remain in the background.
It echoes the dynamic we see in the court process, where the victim’s names and stories c... more
I am so sorry I couldn’t continue to listen as I whole heartedly believe in what you are doing for the betterment of women, their health and life. However, the background music and noise made it difficult for me to concentrate on the narrative and as such I only made it half way through the 1st episode. It may seem a trivial complaint but if it affected me it may also put off other listeners.
Such a well made podcast about a very important topic. Well done to all involved for continuing the conversation!
A great podcast, I just found the actors a little over dramatic and irritating and felt like the narrator maybe needed a glass of water. Voices matter with podcasts, hopefully the content continues to hold attention.
First episode was good. Well researched and interesting, Timely content with coercive control laws being introduced around the Australian states and a growing awareness in our society of this previously unrecognised and unnamed form of abuse in domestic relationships. Having the language and the stories helps us understand and deal with this very serious problem in our society. Looking forward to the rest of the episodes.
