Thank you for this fantastic podcast. Working in the home design content space as a Korean American, I iniitally discovered it as a fan of Young Huh, whose work I admire. I have been hooked on all your interviews and appreciate that you give voice and life to all of these Korean Americans who are working in creative career paths. Keep up the amazing work and storytelling. Much love from a late 30s Korean American living in the Bay Area.
As a Korean-American interested in arts/culture/media, it’s a huge blessing to hear from others who share the same background and are going for their dreams. It provides both inspiration + information, a powerful combination. Thank you so much!
I first found this podcast because I am a big fan of Catherine Hong's book reviews. I originally listened to the episode with David Yoon because he and his wife Natasha are two of my favorite writers. I was absolutely immersed in their converstaion about creativity and the writing life, and in particular about his partnership with his wife. Hosts Catherine and Juliana have such a natural, seamless conversation style. I have since gone through and listened to many of the past episodes and I alway... more
Loved the second episode with Ji Lee! This episode touched on so many topics that created a mosaic of ideas and feelings within me.
Passion and creativity from ones upbringing was great to hear.
Also loved hearing about father son relationships and the backstory behind Drawings for my G’children
Lastly I Would love to hear more stories about Korean Brazilians, as I studied abroad there almost 30 years ago and had a life changing experience.
Thanks for the great podcast!
