I love Jimmy Eat World and I was really excited to find this podcast. When the hosts stay on topic and talk about the songs and the band it’s pretty good (hence the two stars), but more often than not they get distracted and talk about all kinds of random personal things. It would be a much better podcast if they would just stick to the music
Listening to David and Justin talk about the band’s catalogue is kinda like being back in high school and talking shop about good music. The topics are always great to listen to and I’m always engaged with the material. Be most excellent to each other my dudes, and PARTY ON!!!!
Simply put, David and Justin rock. These guys do some serious homework and find the most obscure information about my all time favorite band Jimmy Eat World, and I can’t get enough of it. more
It’s hard to imagine but it’s true. They may even beat me when they cover the ultra obscure tracks. more
I love the back and forth between these two!! Regular family guys just talking music and dissecting a song at a time while tying in there favorite bands, movies and shows. They have their own perspectives of the lyrics and overall appreciation of the song with their instrumental background. I just recently added the paid sub and liking the extra content and early releases also. Every episode makes me want to go pull up the album on Spotify and rediscover all over again. more
