詞彙量是語言能力的重要指標,但是一般人對於詞彙量有某種程度的誤解,以為只要大量背單字增加記憶的詞彙量就能提升語言能力。事實上應該精確的說,詞彙覆蓋率才是詞彙量影響語言能力的關鍵因素。因此,教學詞表的建置對學習效率有很重要的影響。
這個訪談主要探討在語言教學中,教學詞表的重要性、建置與應用的方法;同時也將說明目前在臺灣有哪些英語教學詞表,以及這些教學詞表在教材編輯上的使用情況。

原住民族教育研究中心助理研究員吉娃思巴萬
原住民族幼兒教育機構在原鄉大致分為國小附幼(國幼班)及市立/鄉立幼兒園,少數地區有教會設立的幼兒園及私立幼兒園。上述的幼兒園跟一般的幼兒園一樣有相似的師資、課程與教學等,但幼兒在原住民族語言學習方面仍嚴重不足。為了讓原住民幼兒能就近就學及學習其族語及文化,原住民族委員會推動了「原住民族語保母獎助計畫」及「沉浸式族語教學幼兒園計畫」;教育部也在全國設立10間「社區/部落互助教保服務中心」,期望建構適合原住民幼兒快樂童年的部落主體性的幼兒照護體系。
