【客座教授！安烈炫】由國立陽明交通大學張維安教授、羅烈師副教授、國立聯合大學林本炫教授三位重量級學者，以社會科學為本，探討族群歷史與族群認同！
透過基礎的學術研究方法分析文化形成與改變，作為雙向溝通「學界和社會」的平台，讓學術研究發揮一點科普的社會影響。
拉近學術界與一般社會的距離，並藉由本節目破除刻板的客家形象，建構新的客家印象。

新北市客家文化園區今年創立20週年，園區所在是1895年客家義軍抗日「隆恩埔戰役」戰場所在，深具歷史文化意義。交通位置方便，國道三號緊鄰三鶯交流道，隔著大漢溪有鶯歌陶瓷老街和陶瓷博物館。
新北市客家人以永定客家人為重要組成，永定客家人住圓樓，但其他祖籍客家人住在圍龍屋（伙房）裡，園區建築結合兩種客家建築型態。

臺中有兩個客家文化館，一個是東勢火車站轉型的東勢客家文化園區，另外一個是劉家伙房重建而成的土牛客家文化館。
大埔腔客家話是臺灣第三大客家腔調，集中在臺中市的石岡、東勢、新社及和平四個區，過去被稱為「東勢客家話」，講東勢腔客家話的客家人被稱為「東勢客」。
客家委員會成立後，以這四個區的客家話來自於中國廣東省大埔縣，因此命名為大埔腔客家話。
東勢客家文化園區和土牛客家文化館，加上周邊豐富的文化景點，附近還有東勢林業文化園區，實際走訪可瞭解大埔客家文化。
