Love listening to Ben and Chandler! I really feel they give the best, balanced, and most level-headed coverage of the Jazz that I’ve heard anywhere. I’ve tried a few Jazz podcasts, and this is the one I’m sticking with for sure. Excellent stuff!

  • Informative; insightful for a new fan.

Having recently started following basketball from the U.K and decided on the Jazz as the team I would follow, this podcast is extremely accessible and has had some great guests on whilst I have been listening. Ben is a really knowledgeable host and I have learnt a lot about the Jazz and their style, along with how Snyder thinks about the game and wants them to play. Ben’s a good follow on Twitter as well! Thanks for helping me start to learn about a sport I had never really understood before.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

What need will be addressed by the Utah Jazz in free agency? | Jazz Notes
Q: What are the odds Donovan Mitchell's season ends today?
Given the Cavaliers' 3-0 series lead and the Knicks' strong form, chances are around 60-65% that Mitchell's team is eliminated this round, with potential for a gentleman's sweep depending on the next games.
What need will be addressed by the Utah Jazz in free agency? | Jazz Notes
Q: If the Jazz take AJ DeBonsa or Darren Peterson in the draft, what do they still need to add in free agency?
They could target mid-level players who are mostly guaranteed to contribute, such as players who can fill guard rotations and provide depth, with a mix of some safer options and a few higher-ceiling but still solid contributors.
What need will be addressed by the Utah Jazz in free agency? | Jazz Notes
Q: Will it be, I like the way you framed this, will it be a scalpel, chainsaw or machete being used by Utah's front office in reshaping the roster this offseason?
I would assume it's a scalpel, meaning small fringe moves, using the mid-level exception strategically, and maybe bringing back some known players like Walker Kessler; bigger moves are possible but unlikely in the near term.
Breaking Down What To Look For In The Final Week Of Season
Q: From Blue Sky, what are the top off-season stories to watch for the Jazz?
The draft lottery and the top prospects, the development trajectory of players like Ace Bailey, Walker Kessler, and Jaren Jackson Jr., and how Will Hardy shapes the team's identity in a post-tanking era.
Austin Ainge end of season availability
Q: Would missing the postseason next year be a disappointment?
The response emphasized focusing on the process, acknowledging there is a big summer ahead, and signaling that the team will evaluate where they stand and what needs to improve, including players, front office, and potential roster moves.
