This episode really hit home for me as I struggle with this issue almost everyday. One way I have learned to deal with this is that we have to protect our heart. Our hearts should not have to be burdened with negativity or shudder with anxiety. Whenever I am triggered- I ground myself and the in my mind cradle my heart to protect it. We are responsible for our own healing and this is our way getting closer to Allah.
