  • Not a Muslim

Hi, I'm not a Muslim, I don't speak Arabic. I wanted to understand how we got to where we are in 2025. I don't know if you read comments now from so long ago. But thank you very much for your point of view.

  • Some false history as far as Sikh references

I have no idea where the host is getting his facts from. But from what I heard, what he says about Sikhs is completely false. Sikhs didn’t “select”’ their gurus is just one example.

  • One sided history

Although factually correct and using contemporary sources, I have found the content to be extremely one-sided with deliberate omissions that only shine positive light on Islamic leaders and empires

  • Constructive feedback

The topics and the guests are very interesting, so thank you for bringing this podcast to the public. The only constructive criticism I wish to give is that the host brother Muttaqi Ismail’s voice sounds muffled. I don’t know if this is due to the audio equipment being used.

  • Brilliant Islamic history podcast

Love the show! Amazing work brother Mutttaqi Ismail, I have learned a great deal from your podcast, the prophets life, the Umayyad caliphate, and Muslim modern history. Thank you for this, I do not know of many historical podcasts that focus on Islam and help teach the history behind the faith. Can’t wait for Abbasid caliphate discussion!
