The genius behind Islamic entertainment
Q: How did you transition from Citizen Khan to broader opportunities, and what challenges did you face?
After Citizen Khan, I faced industry pressures and moral conflicts, especially around adapting to new roles that conflicted with my upbringing. This pushed me toward stand-up, charity work, and more controlled, family-friendly projects that still allowed cultural expression while protecting my family and faith.
The genius behind Islamic entertainment
Q: What was your big break, and how did it happen?
In college I excelled, auditioned for BBC Three's Admin, and after a rocky start I landed a role that propelled me forward, leading to a string of opportunities and the subsequent realization that I could steer my own career despite early challenges.

Q: What advice would you give to someone who wants to start a halal property business without taking on debt?
Educate yourself on multiple halal models, validate with real tenant opportunities, start small with rental arbitrage or service-based models, and scale only after clear demand and legal setup.

Q: How do you balance faith, risk, and wealth-building in a way that helps the broader community?
By keeping wealth as a means, not an end, using halal models, and focusing on impact—supporting family and the Ummah while maintaining trust in Allah.
How millionaires think about money?
Q: What were the initial steps you took when you decided to pursue entrepreneurship instead of a traditional high-earning career?
I started with mindset training, learned from others who had done it, tested ideas on a small scale, then gradually invested in coaching and systems to build sustainable income.
