Picked up the podcast on a friends’s recommendation, and burnt through Seasons 1-3 in a matter of weeks. Really entertaining. I liked the way the D&D format made the deep dive into Tolkien lore accessible.
Looking forward to Sembia.

I recently started listening after finding about some of the interviews Jared had with Neo-Elvish folk. The story is true to Tolkien’s Legendarium but squeezes through and makes a fun, epic adventure. The interviews with the players and community stars, etc. are very refreshing. I would recommend for any Tolkien and D&D fan.

A discussion-driven show centered on speculative fiction, with a strong core in LitRPG, game-lit, and fantasy worlds. Episodes feature deep dives into world-building, narration, and publishing logistics, often including live event notes, reader questions, and cross-promotional tease for conventions. The format tends to pair prolific authors with narrators or fellow creators to unpack storytelling craft, voice work, and ongoing series development. Noteworthy are candid behind-the-scenes stories, long-running arcs, and enthusiasm for community engagement at conventions and fan-driven initiatives.
