If you don’t like political music then don’t listen to jazz.
Too political and woke
To a previous post reviewer: Jazz has always been an extremely political music. Threats on civil rights and strong leanings to authoritarianism are not compatible with Jazz. Adolf was not a fan and the only swinging Trump could do is on Epstein’s island.
I listened to the show and knew right away this would be a show to enjoy that’s the plus the negative was the political comments about President trump and playing a few tracks that disrespected the office of the president of the United States of America
Refreshing episodes of mixed styles in jazz. Ken avoids too much bonk-eep-honk and keeps the announcements informative and short. All in all every week one hour enjoyable 🎷🎵🎤🎶. 🙏and 🙋 from Bruges, 🇧🇪

Episodes typically weave artist spotlights, tour updates, and donation appeals into a DJ-driven listening journey, with careful attention to historical connections and quality sound. A notable throughline is a balance between rich musical programming and community-minded support, making it appealing to devoted jazz fans who value both discovery and depth while tolerating occasional political commentary from the host.
What stands out is the show's longevity, strong focus on live scenes and education, and a consistent emphasis on accessible, album-forwa... more
