This party is just that, it’s a party! They have a blast while playing and you are taken right along with them. Whether it’s the inside jokes or the almost constant puns, they do not let up on the comedy gas throughout the entire series.
Really fun storylines, epic battles and funny. Found this podcast a bit randomly and binge listened over the last couple of weeks. Excited to see where our heroes take us next! Love the DMs voice acting!
When I think of Dungeons and Dragons, I think of sitting around a table with friends, making jokes, and doing silly things to make everyone laugh, and Improvised Weapons is that, full stop. Funny people, making funny stories together. If you like actual-play D&D podcasts, this one is a worthy subscription.
Very enjoyable DnD podcast. Hijinks and hilarity ensue, but not so much as to overwhelm a pretty compelling story.
I’m about 10 episodes deep and it just keeps getting funnier. It evokes both campaign and comedy envy in me!
It’s not important that you know the mechanics of D&D. It’s the characters themselves that make this compelling and entertaining listening!
