As an experienced leather-crafter, I have mostly thought from finished leather to product….. However, getting a “behind the curtain” education on the industry as a whole, from the ground up, helps immensely when it comes to educating MYSELF but also OTHERS that might rightfully ask questions esp about the environmental impact of what might be termed a “not an earth friendly industry”. When compared to the oil sludge, polluting alternatives, namely PLASTIC, leather is a godsend in comparison!
