為了讓月津港燈節的能量持續發酵，鹽水在地藝術團隊禹禹藝術工作室，與台南市政府文化局自2019年起共同推動「月之美術館」計畫。月之美術館並非一棟實體場館，而是貫穿整座小鎮的藝術基地，除了邀請藝術家駐地創作外，更透過定期的展演活動，與計畫性的藝術工作坊、閒置空間活化等工作，逐步打造友善藝術環境，催生小鎮特色品牌。
