今回、伺ったのは、南大隅町で現在唯一の特別養護老人ホーム「蒼水園」
１０４歳の 蜂須賀 美津子さん。
根占出身。長年先生として働いていたそう。
大正１１年。１９２２年生まれの美津子さん。
美津子先生と呼ばせていただきました。
しっかりとした声、目、話し方が、いまだに１０４歳と信じられないほど。
時代を振り返りながらお話伺っています。

この日は、川原田。農業の体験をして、農家の皆さんの気持ちを知りたい！と思い、
旬のじゃがいも（ばれいしょ）の収穫を朝から夕方までさせていただきました。
はじめてこんなに長い時間作物に触れ、筋肉痛になりながらも充実した
体験をさせていただきました。
そして、驚いたのが、一緒にじゃがいもを掘った祖父母世代の皆様が
本当に元気！！お話伺いました。
