この作品を観る前に原作の宮野真生子さんと磯野真穂さんの『急に具合が悪くなる』を読んでから観に行きました。
本のエッセンスが見事に映画に投影されていて、何度も涙を流しました。
本でも強く感じた、色んなものへの境界線を超えた生きる世界に対する二人の書簡のやり取りが、映画では言葉を超えてこんなに優しい世界へと映し出されていて心をこんなに動かされたのは久しぶりのこと。

お久しぶりになってしまいました！すっかり夏になりましたが、私はここ最近8年分くらいの日記や写真を振り返って、当時の気持ちを振り返る作業をしています。
時間はかかるけど、あの時すでにこんなことを思っていたんだなとか、ちゃんとその時に思い描いていたことが現実になっているよとか、過去の私に今の私が会いに行ってあげて寄り添って、またそれをノートに書くことは、今すごく必要な作業だなと思ってます。
