I honestly glad I found this podcast. The way she narrates her experiences makes me feel connected in some way. The “who am I if you want me” chapter was everything I thought but couldn’t express out loud.

Q: What does healthy masculinity look like?
Healthy masculinity involves being in touch with one's emotions, seeking to uplift others, and acting from a place of self-awareness and authenticity rather than societal pressure.

Q: How do societal expectations of masculinity influence how men express emotions in relationships?
Societal expectations create pressure on men to conform to traditional masculine roles, often leading them to suppress emotions such as sadness or vulnerability in favor of anger and stoicism.

Q: Is there a difference between playing to play, playing to record, and playing to perform?
Yes, but the difference has become minimal as I learn to enjoy recording just as I enjoy playing.
