  • Fave horse podcast!

I just adore this podcast! I love the light that Scott and Crysta are bringing to the horse community. I think sometimes other podcasters get stuck on the bad of the horse world so I throughly enjoy the conversation staying light while also discussing issues. I wish there were more episodes because these are a staple while I clean stalls! I love having guest speakers especially from all different parts of the industry, not just paints. Keep doing what you’re doing! You are the good that the hors... more

  • A Mandatory Listen

If you ride, show, or even just pretend you’ve got your life together at the barn, Horse Show Bestie is the podcast you need in your rotation.

It’s honestly the perfect mix of real horse world talk, humor, and the kind of relatable stuff that makes you feel like you’re not the only one out here trying to survive show season with your dignity intact. The hosts Crysta and Scott are sharp, entertaining, and they don’t waste time, it’s good content, not fluff (ok lots of fluff but it’s the kind of ... more

  • Loved your ideal horse show Ideas!!

I really liked your ideas for horse show changes! I personally think a tiara for a trophy would be an amazing high point award, just sayin! But I love the idea of having judges explain a few things they loved most about their winners! Love the idea of offering a or series of “ private master classes” with different trainers as prizes that you can get while at the show! Love me some healthier and closer food options maybe with a TV and couches for non-horsey husband types! For-going 1-10 pr... more

A Team USA Physical Therapist Dr.Kari Talks Improving Horses By Improving Riders
Q: What is the elevator pitch for equestrians to pursue PT?
If you have trouble riding your horse, for example with corners, lead changes, or staying off the ribcage, a PT can help you achieve smoother, more efficient movement and better performance.
A Team USA Physical Therapist Dr.Kari Talks Improving Horses By Improving Riders
Q: When should a rider consider PT in relation to lessons?
Ideally at the beginning of the training period or after noticing persistent balance or mobility issues, with a recommendation that if needed, a PT screen can guide improvements before injuries develop.
A Team USA Physical Therapist Dr.Kari Talks Improving Horses By Improving Riders
Q: What does a typical physical therapy assessment look like for an equestrian?
A PT will screen the full body from head to pelvis, assess range of motion and symmetry, check hip mobility and core stability, and use a simple screen like squats and single-leg balance to decide if a more detailed screen or a targeted program is needed.
Talking Sales and Social Media with Jenna Seppa
Q: Do you find any shade coming from trainers when you're looking for the client's horses?
No, I haven't had any weird experiences. I've had trainers reach out to me, be like, 'Hey, this is what my client's looking for!'
Talking Sales and Social Media with Jenna Seppa
Q: How do you get to that point with your social media following?
It was on accident, just like everything else that happens in my life.
