  • Quality commentary & hilarity all in one podcast

I'd like to preface this review by saying I do not watch nearly as many horror movies now as I did when I was a child (and probably shouldn't have been but it was something my father and I both enjoyed and bonded over). I enjoy listening to HSHD 1) because I enjoy listening to people discuss topics that they are passonate and knowledgable about and 2) these guys are funny AF. Even if you aren't a horror fanatic, give it a shot. Maybe you'll discover a hidden gem or, at the very least, have a goo... more

  • didn’t know what I was missing

These guys changed my outlook from “I won’t enjoy this movie because don’t like to be scared” to “so worth it”! I thought classics like Scream and Halloween were just exceptions, but now some of my favorite movies are ones I only know about from this podcast, especially horror-comedies like Dead Snow and Stitches. This show is also why I finally watched A Nightmare on Elm Street and learned that "chills down your spine” isn’t always an idiom. I still let most of the movies go unwatched, but they... more

  • Horror Movies! And talk about same!

Do you want an excuse to watch all of the horror movies that you gazed longingly at in the VHS rental store? Or do you not know what the last bit of that sentence means because you are far too young to actually be alive but want to start gathering wisdom to offset your freakish youth?

Then check out this dang podcast! Watch three terrible-to-excellent movies per week and then hear some dudes talk about them! Often insightful! Frequently funny! Always worth listening to! Huzzah!

  • A Fantastic Podcast To Pick Up Gay Dudes

Have you ever found yourself in that all too common situation when you are chatting up this cute guy in the local bar and you run out of things to talk about? Then dreaded question comes around "What kind of movies do you like?" Now maybe you are like me and are incapable of doing one thing for more than half an hour without a drink in your hand and you don't want to seem like a kind of no-fun kill-joy that doesn't like movies. Normally you would have to come up with some lame excuse like "I don... more
