  • Well intentioned but lacking

I’m sure the team behind this is doing their best, but it all comes up short.

In all matters theological and therapeutic they are abysmally uninformed, to the point of causing real harm.

Being part of a conversion therapy org like Strength in Weakness is a bad look, and that’s not even getting to the associations with the ICoC (which is currently undergoing law suits related to child abuse).

If you really do love god, do better and be better. Don’t contribute to the rise of homophobia and tra... more

  • This podcast touches my heart

Listening to your podcast is a refreshment to my day. Someone very close to me is SSA and God has truly blessed my family’s relationship with this person through the information and counseling in SIW. Yet, as life goes on I can still feel so ill equipped for him. Your podcast gives me a window into his soul, particularly since he is not a disciple of God. Also, I am surprised to see how much you’re sharing is helpful for my own thought processes. Just listening to your openness and perseverance ... more

  • Answering real-life questions with openness and honesty

I’ve found the podcast very helpful in learning how to relate to Sam Sex Attracted loved ones who have not often felt loved in the fellowship.

I’d like to hear more scripture woven into the dialogue, but it’s refreshing to hear honest questions and answers on topics that have felt taboo in our family of churches.

Very grateful as well that the guys invited a female guest to speak.

    Nice work, guys.
