  • Some parts interesting

    I listened to the episode on Requiem for a Dream as I had just re-watched it and was keen for some commentary. Some of what the guys say is interesting - like the facts behind why some things happened / choices the director made etc - but the discussion would benefit from more structure and analysis of the themes and why they still hold up now. Also one of the guys is really below the standard of the other two. He says stuff that doesn’t make sense , or contradicts himself. When he said the char... more

  • Didn’t make it 5 minutes

    After 5 minutes of The Exorcist episode, I came to the conclusion that:

    1. They’ve never seen the movie

    2. They’ve seen it but not recently for research, as you would for any topic you’re talking about on a podcast

    3. They were purposely getting even basic things wrong in a “too cool for school” type of way

    How can people take your opinion seriously when you don’t know what you’re talking about? I immediately deleted this podcast
