thanks for helping me relive the glory days of the 80s. saw you at many shows back in the day. lots of memroies come flooding back when i started listening. seeing ratt, dio, metallica, priest, maiden, oliver magnum, megadeth, crue and so many others in the 80s was amazing and when you being them up it does take me back to parking lot parties at the lloyd noble, the debacles on 12th street in moore after concerts, mcdonalds buns all over the parking lot and on and on. Thanks!!
Went to the Creed show at the Brewery . It was a KATT B Day Party I’m pretty sure . Big Wreck and Cool for August opened . Cheap Trick was inside the Brewery . In fact Robin Zander mentioned during the show it was a change of venue . Thanks again gents . Keep it comin
Another great episode ( 32 ) I keep catching easter eggs . Great shout out to BudCo Audio . My Dad did a lot of shows with Bud Coker and I would on occasion work with Bud and Sharon at the shop moving those massive stacks around and eatin bologne and onion sandwhiches on 10th and help load in and out . Thanks guys keep it comin !
Great series ! My Dad was John “Big John” Williams and he was a local light and sound guy in the 80’s . Did alot of shows and was great friends of Max’s . I was a kid but got to go in the back door helping with cables at club Kinetics ;specifically the L.A. Guns /Shark Island Show. I’ll never forget it. I was also on one of the Ill faded bus trips to a Pantera show that was the thing of legend . Thank you Max Baker jr and Jay for the content .
