Jan, is an awesome Christ disciple and entrepreneur in the world’s marketplace. There’s so much value found in her words. I consider her a friend and sister in Christ and the marketplace— not a competitor. You can’t help but be blessed by Jan and her gifts and skills💜

  • Authentic & Delightful

I listened to episode 47: “My Spark Conference Recap“ and appreciated not only Jan‘s authentic nature and humorously delightful way of sharing but also several really good nuggets that I took note of for my business.

  • God Bumps

I listened to episode 21 about overflow and felt the Holy Spirit all around me. I’ve been walking through burn out for a long season in my business but God keeps asking me to take a step. In the obedience sometimes I feel forgetful of why I’ve been asked to do what I’m doing. Jan highlighted the areas of scripture that I needed to hear today and I’m ready to flow again with Him and let Him fill me back up.

    So so so good!

133: Turn Podcast Listeners Into Clients with Jenny Suneson
Q: What is the best single action for someone who has a podcast and wants to level up its effectiveness?
Conduct a full audit of both recent and older episodes to verify working links, clear calls to action, and up-to-date offers; then optimize the episodes and back catalog for SEO while aligning future content with a clear listener journey that moves audiences toward a specific next step, such as a lead magnet or paid offer.
133: Turn Podcast Listeners Into Clients with Jenny Suneson
Q: If their next step is a lead magnet of some kind, how can they monetize their podcast besides nurturing sequences?
Monetization can be approached by prioritizing your own products and services as the core revenue driver, using affiliates as a secondary channel, and leveraging sponsorships only when download milestones are met. Even for episodes about tools or tech stacks, include affiliate links, but keep a strong emphasis on offering your own paid offerings first. Sponsorships typically require thousands of downloads per episode to be lucrative, so they shouldn't be the primary strategy unless the podcast is a stand-alone business.
132: Why Your Marketing Problem Isn't Really About Budget with Dr. Dave Jones
Q: Talk to me about how you come to clients and help them define their strategy.
We start with a clear vision and a short, memorable statement, then build a plan that aligns messaging with the client's destiny and mission, testing it through AB experiments to ensure the messaging resonates with the target persona.
129: How to Niche Your Business Without Losing Clients With Guest Mallika Malhotra
Q: Tell us about your approach to niching and the four-part framework you mentioned.
Mallika outlines the bullseye branding framework consisting of ideal client, specialize, standout, and solution; combining these elements with data from real clients and a strong, differentiating methodology helps clients crystallize a precise, revenue-driving niche.
116: Why Time Management Is Slowly Killing Your Growth — with Lissa Figgins
Q: How can listeners practically audit their time—what cadence do you recommend?
Use an annual planning audit, a quarterly 12-week focus cycle, and track one growth-focused initiative at a time to avoid overwhelm and create measurable progress.

Frequently Asked Questions About This Podcast

What is This Podcast about and what kind of topics does it cover?

This show targets Christian women entrepreneurs who want sustainable growth without relying on social media. Episodes consistently emphasize owned media—website, email lists, and podcasts—and practical paths to client acquisition, SEO, and authentic branding within a faith-aligned framework.
