  • A good balanced review and analysis podcast

I rate your podcast above the other contenders so please take this constructively.

The Brentford pod was an example of my criticism. You fellas often repeat the same point ad nauseam, I’m afraid. It was 25 minutes into this pod before turning to the fixture itself. Your comments about the importance of the fans and their influence on the team performance is important…but please, not worth almost 25 minutes!!

Individuals often criticise themselves and apologise for repeating the same point…so ... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

HAWAY THE Q&A PT2 | Premier League Football Standards | Habib Diarra | Coaching Staff | VAR!
Q: Does Habib Diarra fit into the Central Midfield and the style of playing the Premier League?
Opinions were that he has qualities but needs more consistency and fitness; some guests argued that he should be given time to develop his game in the league, while others acknowledged the risks of playing him while not fully match-fit.
HAWAY THE Q&A PT2 | Premier League Football Standards | Habib Diarra | Coaching Staff | VAR!
Q: What is really going on lately with Habib Diarra?
The panel noted his injury history and the need for him to settle into the Premier League, suggesting that recent games have been disrupted by fitness and adaptation, but overall believing there is still potential to unlock his best with time.
HAWAY THE Q&A! | Part 1 | SOL Atmosphere | RLB Future | Squad Depth
Q: What are the expectations for Regis Le Bris given injuries and player turnover, and should he be replaced or given time to improve with a deeper squad?
The consensus is that Le Bris has earned patience due to his track record, injuries, and the club's long-term plan; replacing him mid-season is viewed as potentially destabilizing, with a focus on improving the squad depth in the summer.
HAWAY THE Q&A | Le Bris' Future, & Sunderland's Port Vale Problems
Q: Was bringing Jacquer on for only 10 minutes the clearest indication that Regis Le Bris didn't seriously care for the cup?
The panel suggests context is needed, considering potential injuries or fitness of on-bench players, and notes questions about why Jacquer wasn't introduced earlier or why more youth might have been used, viewing it as part of a broader discussion on risk-taking and rotation.
MATCHDAY PREVIEW | Port Vale v Sunderland | Up For The Cup (Again!)
Q: What is the mentality the hosts want Sunderland to adopt for this cup tie?
They want a fearless, focused approach with the strongest lineup possible, treating the cup seriously and aiming to win at all costs.
