Hello and welcome to Hardcover Hoes -- a long-distance book club where two book-lovers express their feelings on their book of the moment via podcast. Together, we have combed through BookTok, combined our to-be-read lists, and now we intend to make our way through them one book at a time. We’d love for you to come along with us, and join the discussion.

Love it! They actually choose popular/trendy books. And they bring up niche things I wouldn’t have noticed. Would recommend :)
This is an entertaining podcast dissecting trendy reads. It expanded my TBR list too! But I don’t need tacky comments about politics (from either side of the isle) when I’m trying to escape in books and talking about fun stories with friends :)
Might be the worst podcast I’ve ever listened to…
I enjoy that listening to this podcast and similar to discussing a read with your friends. However, I wish they would record after they both finished the read. Without the preparation the pod tends to jump around and can be more about discussing when things happen in the storyline versus discussing the intricacies of the storyline. I think if they tighten up their prep this podcast can easily be my favorite “book club.”
The cohosts have plenty of conversational chemistry that makes their show an entertaining and insightful listen. They’ve got episodes on It Happened One Summer, Verity, the Brown Sisters series, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, and tons of other reads. If you’re interested in any of them, you should definitely tune in.
