I’m doing my third read through of this series and found this excellent podcast. Absolutely love how the hosts point out so many of Gaiman’s references and allusions. It makes the read through that much more enriching.

The only draw back is that it’s only once a month so my reading outpaces their schedule. Will definitely go back and check out everything I missed after each episode comes out!

Neil Gaiman's Sandman is an incredible comic book, and it's also incredibly dense. The hosts do an amazing job diving into what makes Sandman “high art”. I am on my first read through of the series and this podcast helps me think about the plot, and characters, on deeper levels. Additionally, it has allowed me to catch the vast number of literary and DC allusions that Gaiman sprinkles in throughout the series, that I otherwise would have completely missed.

Great way to get into this classic comic series. Hosts bring alot of knowledge to the material.

Being not a fan of comics I have found this podcast a great way to gain an entrance into this genre of story telling. Highly recommend for anyone interested in great fiction.

I’m so glad this pod exists. Sandman is an absolute masterwork, and these dudes pay it the attention it deserves. Although I was turned off at first by the monthly episode releases, I’ve grown to appreciate it because it gives listeners time to dive back into the issue discussed between entries.
