「AIに代替されない写真とは何か」というテーマについて、今の自分なりの考えを整理してみたいと思います。
ここ数年で、AI技術は一気に身近な存在になりました。
ChatGPT、Gemini、Midjourney、動画生成AIなど、表現の分野でもAIは目覚ましい進化を遂げています。
2025年現在、「うまく描ける」「それっぽい写真が作れる」ということ自体は、もはや特別な価値ではなくなりつつあります。

ぼくにとって写真を撮るという行為は、作品づくりというよりも、思い出の記録にかなり寄っています。
そして、その「思い出を記録する写真」における最大の目的は、何かを美しく写すことではなく、記憶の補完にあると感じています。頭の中にぼんやりと浮かぶ、あのときの空気、温度、音、感情。それらを呼び起こすための“きっかけ”として、写真がある。ぼくにとって写真は、記憶を正確に保存する装置ではなく、記憶を思い出すための装置なんだと思います。その記憶のイメージに近いのがフィルムの色味なのかもしれない。
僕が撮りたい写真の「ジャンル」についてお話ししようと思います。
と言っても、一般的なジャンル名ではなく、僕自身がしっくりくる形で名付けたものです。
少し説明しないと伝わりづらいと思うので、ゆっくりお話ししていきます。
