I played my first tournament in 1978 and ran my first tournament as a TD in college in 1982, which set me on the course design path.

Q: How do you trim greens? Is there a difference in how you trim greens and fairways?
The process is mostly the same; however, we cut the grass on greens more often to keep it shorter compared to fairways.
