2011年4月4日凌晨，广西柳州西船大院宿舍区一名女子被发现死于楼道中，初步被误认为“孕妇自杀”。警方侦查后确认死者为40岁的沈燕，系头部遭锐器刺伤致死，属于他杀，且楼道并非第一现场。警方通过血迹鉴定、监控分析及证人证言锁定凶手，其最终因故意杀人罪被判处有期徒刑15年。
