  • EdTech Touchdown!

Guise and Nick are the perfect combination and balance for teachers learning the value of technology in their classroom. Their valuable knowledge from a teacher perspective makes this podcast real and useful. When they evaluate a tool, it is with a teacher lens and not to sell a product. What they offer is a unique perspective on how to USE the tool and make it powerful for student creativity and success.

I appreciate what these two offer and the EdTech Throwdown is one of my go to podcasts.... more

The research indicates that the most important factor is what students already know; building on prior knowledge sets the stage for meaningful learning, and novice learners need explicit scaffolding and schema to make new information connectable.
