As a loyal GP listener, I took the liberty in calling Mr Delow at work. Working in recruitment, cold calling Starstruck Media seemed the most logical way to get in touch and discuss all things WWE as well a boosting my call stats. I didn't really think the plan through to its entirety, with my Director perched a mere couple of meters away, and would have smelt a rat if she overheard me discussing the great work of Karrion Kross, than asking if you require any sales staff at the moment. GP is a rare best. A UK based wrestling pod that is solely focused on & enthusiastic about WWE. No indie smarks these guys..Just knowledgeable & lively chat about the crazy, ludicrous, controversial, wonderful WWE Universe.
And despite it’s official ties with Titan Towers, it doesn’t sugar coat. The hosts will call out the product when it doesn’t deliver.
It’s just fun.
GP is a decent listen, and Mex makes a nice addition to the line up since its relaunch, but I’m finding James Delow more irritating with each episode.
I always skip the first 30 seconds of every pod because I can’t stand his introductions, but it’s the way he reads his tweets as if they’re some form of sacred text that really gives me the ick.
The pod could do with introducing more panelist’s who are willing to offer counter arguments to James. And they really need to stop making jokes relat... more
